Giossi Foundation Makes Contribution to Fauna Park
The Fauna e.V. animal park in Germany has undergone a significant transformation this year, with the contribution of the Giossi Foundation playing a crucial role. The park, home to a variety of animals, has seen improvements in its facilities, including the construction of a new pigsty and the installation of a canopy in the marmoset enclosure.
Tobias Rische, the new manager of Fauna e.V. and a trained carpenter, designed and implemented the canopy for the marmoset enclosure. The canopy, funded for renovation and beautification purposes, provides protection from rain and excessive sunlight during the summer for the park's marmosets.
The new pigsty, also funded by the Giossi Foundation, was swiftly constructed to accommodate the two new mini-pigs and the "old ladies" of the park. Mini-pigs, despite their name, require more space than one might expect. The new pigsty was designed with this in mind, ensuring a comfortable living environment for the friendly new additions.
The two new pigs have been well-received at the park. A cover photo depicts Monika Tönnies and Tobias Rische with the pigs in the new pigsty, a testament to the hard work and dedication put into their care.
The Giossi Foundation has regularly contributed to the renovation and beautification of the Tierpark Fauna e.V. in recent years. However, the specific foundation remains unidentified in search results.
The Fauna e.V. animal park is not only home to pigs and marmosets, but also many other animals. With the support of organisations like the Giossi Foundation, the park continues to thrive and provide a sanctuary for its residents.
