Giovanni Zarrella is throwing a high-profile summer bash, inviting numerous prominent celebrities.

The much-anticipated Summer Edition of the "Giovanni Zarrella Show" is set to air on ZDF on August 23, 2025, at 8:15 PM. The show, which will be live from the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund, promises a night filled with music, nostalgia, and a dash of surprises.

This Disco Vibes themed event will feature a powerful trio, Il Volo, who will join the lineup. Alongside them, the Italian success group Ricchi E Poveri will perform, bringing a touch of their distinctive Italian flair to the show.

The show will also welcome a reunion with Henning Krautmacher, former frontman of the HΓΆhner. Krautmacher is rumoured to have a special party surprise in store for the audience, in collaboration with the host, Giovanni Zarrella.

Vincent Gross and Olaf der Flipper, the duo behind the summer hit "Drinking Wine Feeling Fine," will perform their feel-good duet live on the show. Sarah Engels will also bring 70s disco vibes with her fresh version of ABBA's "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!"

Schlager legends Howard Carpendale and Michael Holm, Semino Rossi, and Kerstin Ott are among the guests on the show. The night will also see a comeback from cult rock 'n' roller Dick Brave, who is making a return after a ten-year hiatus.

A trip back to the 90s is planned with Loona and Judith Hildebrandt, the former singer of Eurodance group Mr. President. Revolverheld will also look back on 20 years of band history with lead singer Johannes Strate, who had to cancel his planned appearance in the "Giovanni Zarrella Show" in February due to health reasons and was replaced by Giovanni at short notice.

BVB hero and World Cup winner Roman Weidenfeller has been invited to the show, adding a touch of sporting glory to the musical extravaganza. Linda Hesse and Julia Lindholm, who have formed the new duo 2theMoonbeats, will perform a remake of "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie."

Ross Antony will provide music from the 80s with his German version of "Walking On Sunshine." Heinz Rudolf Kunze will celebrate the 40th anniversary of his mega hit "Dein ist mein ganzes Herz" on the show.
