In a shocking turn of events, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani was involved in a car accident on Saturday. The incident took place on Interstate 93 southbound in Manchester, New Hampshire.

According to reports, Giuliani's vehicle was struck from behind at high speed. As a result, he sustained a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, injuries to his left arm and lower leg. Despite the severity of his injuries, Giuliani remained composed and immediately rendered assistance, contacting 911 and staying on the scene until police arrived.

Authorities have identified the driver of the car Giuliani was in as Ted Goodman, who was also taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver who struck their vehicle was also hospitalized, but no specific name has been released. It is known that Giuliani's business partner or driver was also injured in the accident.

The other individual involved in the accident was also taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The person who hit Giuliani's car was not specifically named. The accident is not believed to have been a targeted attack, according to Ragusa.

Both vehicles involved in the accident were heavily damaged. Giuliani was transported to a nearby trauma center for treatment. His doctors are pleased with his progress, and he is reportedly in great spirits and fully alert and conscious.

State police have identified the driver who struck Goodman and Giuliani's car. No charges have been filed at this time, and all aspects of the crash remain under investigation.

Andrew Giuliani, the former mayor's son, acknowledged the incident and thanked those who have reached out. In a statement, he described his father as the toughest SOB he's ever seen.

The accident occurred after Giuliani was flagged down by a woman who was a victim of a domestic violence incident. He stopped to assist her before the collision occurred.

This incident is a reminder of the dangers that can occur on our roads, and we hope for a speedy recovery for all those involved.
