Gold mining company Donlin hires Lindskoog as the new External Affairs Manager

Donlin Gold, a company developing a gold mine in the Upper Kuskokwim River region, has made a significant move to further strengthen its commitment to meaningful engagement by hiring Wendy Lindskoog as External Affairs Manager.

Wendy Lindskoog, who brings more than three decades of experience in public policy, stakeholder engagement, and communications to her new role, has worked in various roles related to corporate communications and stakeholder engagement before joining Donlin Gold. She took on this position in 2020.

Todd Dahlman, Donlin Gold's general manager, has expressed excitement about Wendy Lindskoog joining the team. He believes that her strategic leadership across various industries will be instrumental in driving the company's priorities forward.

One of Donlin Gold's priorities for the remainder of 2025 includes initiating efforts to prepare for the Feasibility Study update. Another priority is completing the 2025 drill program focusing on converting and expanding reserves and resources.

Wendy Lindskoog expresses her excitement about contributing to a project of significant importance for Alaska and working closely with stakeholders to build momentum and create opportunities for shared success. She is actively involved in her community, serving on boards for organizations like the Alaska SeaLife Center, The Foraker Group, the Alaska Chamber, and the Resource Development Council.

Lindskoog's career has been focused on empowering connections and inspiring growth. Prior to joining Donlin Gold, she held positions such as regional vice president of government relations at Royal Caribbean Group, vice president of communications and external affairs at BP Exploration Alaska, chief administrative officer and corporate board secretary at the Alaska Railroad Corporation, and director of communications at the Alaska Legislature.

With Wendy Lindskoog's addition to Donlin Gold, the company is poised to deepen its connections with stakeholders and continue its mission of responsible resource development in Alaska.
