Google's free AI video generation service is currently available for Gemini account holders, but may soon no longer be so.

Josh Woodward, head of Gemini and Google Labs, prepared a large number of TPUs (Tensor Processing Units) on Thursday, which seems to have been for the weekend rollout of Veo 3. This move, initially limited to Google's AI Ultra plan, was rolled out to the AI Pro tier in May, giving more users access to this powerful tool.

The Veo 3 promo appears to be available globally, not just in the U.S. Google's AI Pro subscribers typically get three video generations a day, but during this promo, they can create the same number of videos as Gemini users. The videos generated by Veo 3 include auto-generated sound, and adding clear sound instructions ensures the final clip matches your vision.

Using specific audio details as prompts can yield better results with Veo 3. This major upgrade for the Gemini platform has been reserved for paying subscribers, but Google is making it available for free to Gemini users during this promotion. However, Gemini users can only generate up to three videos each during this offer.
