Government leader calls for prompt giving of presents to citizens in celebration of the National Day
The Government of Vietnam is set to complete the distribution of gifts to its citizens before the National Day on September 2, as part of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution.
Under the guidance of the Politburo, the distribution is being coordinated by Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, the Minister of Public Security, the Minister of Finance, and the State Bank Governor. They have been instructed to implement Resolution No. 263/NQ-CP and Decision No. 1867/QD-TTg.
The total budget for this distribution is approximately VNĐ11 trillion (US$417.53 million), with funds already transferred to localities by the Ministry of Finance. Each citizen will receive a one-time gift valued at VNĐ100,000 ($3.8).
The Government Office is responsible for monitoring the progress of the distribution, while local authorities have been asked to coordinate closely with relevant agencies to ensure the gifts reach the people according to government directives. The PM has asked for the gifts to be delivered safely, on time, and without duplication.
In case of any progress or issues beyond the authority of the Government Office, these will be reported. The Minister of Public Security, the Minister of Finance, and the State Bank Governor have been tasked with addressing these issues promptly.
The search results do not provide information about which authorities and institutions were called upon by the government to quickly and efficiently organize the distribution of gifts to residents on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day. However, it is clear that the distribution of gifts is being done with funds from the central budget.
Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính has signed an official dispatch for the swift distribution of gifts, emphasizing the importance of this gesture in honouring the nation's history and its people. The PM has asked provincial and municipal authorities to implement the directives promptly for the distribution of gifts on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.
This distribution of gifts is a significant part of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, a historic milestone for Vietnam. The Government of Vietnam is committed to ensuring that the gifts are distributed efficiently and effectively, reaching every citizen of the nation.
