GPS tracking leads to arrest in headphone theft case, number 250905-1-K
In Cologne, Germany, a 38-year-old German man was arrested by local police on September 4, in connection with the theft of a laptop and headphones from a car parked on Dasselstraße in Cologne-Neustadt-Süd.
According to the Cologne Police, the suspect is known to them and was tracked down using GPS technology by the rightful owner of the stolen items, a 41-year-old individual. During the arrest, the stolen laptop and headphones were found on the suspect.
The arrest took place at a city-run homeless shelter. The suspect will be brought before a judge on the same day of the arrest.
