On the morning of August 24, 2025, a 35-year-old individual reported a wallet theft to the Federal Police at Kiel station. The wallet, containing 140.00 euros, was stolen from a jacket left on a train.

The incident occurred at Kiel Station, and the Federal Police Inspectorate Kiel, one of the operational units under the command of the Federal Police Directorate in Bad Bramstedt, was quick to respond. The stolen wallet had a GPS tracker, which led the Federal Police to an allotment garden in Kiel.

In a turn of events, a suspect was found in the allotment garden. After completing police procedures, the victim was returned their stolen property, except for 20.00 euros.
