Grateful expressions for the dedication of first responders and emergency workers, as their selfless actions bring a sense of comfort and peace to our hearts, akin to the nurturing influence of a wholesome cake.

In the heart of Solingen, a special event is set to take place on September 7, bringing a sweet treat to the city's residents and a heartfelt thank you to the first responders, emergency services, and crisis intervention teams.

The event, dubbed the "Pancake-Aktion," is a joint action between two local associations, Karnevalsgesellschaft Muckemau and Lebensherbst e. V. The idea for this delicious gathering was born due to a surplus of pancake batter from a cancelled festival.

Petra Krötzsch, the managing director of Lebensherbst e. V. and event initiator, contacted Hans-Joachim Ritter, the president of KG Muckemau, about the idea. Both associations have expressed their pleasure with the great response and willingness to help from the people of Solingen.

KG Muckemau has agreed to bake the pancakes for the event, while Lebensherbst e. V. will cover the costs and organize the event. The freshly baked treats will be served straight from the pan, with a buffer taxi service arranged to deliver the pancakes to various stations.

Petra Krötzsch has also called upon motorcycle and scooter riders to help in the delivery of these delicious treats. The event will take place from 12:00 to 14:00 at the Elisabeth-Roock-Haus, Wiener Str. 65, 42657 Solingen.

For those who wish to participate, a donation of 5 EUR per portion is required. The proceeds from the event will be split equally between Lebensherbst e. V. and KG Muckemau.

The goal of the event is to bring joy to the residents of the Elisabeth-Roock-Haus and to thank the first responders and emergency services for their work on August 23. Hans-Joachim Ritter has expressed that it was important for them to thank the first responders and emergency services for their work on that day.

Both associations are pleased with the cooperation and teamwork for the pancake event. Lebensherbst e. V. was able to collect donations from the public to cover the costs for the pancake batter and other expenses.

So, if you're a pancake lover in Solingen, mark your calendars for September 7 and join in the delicious celebration. Not only will you enjoy a tasty treat, but you'll also be supporting a worthy cause and showing appreciation to the city's heroes.
