A unique find from an early 2021 online auction, the E. Ingraham & Company Grecian shelf clock has captured the attention of collectors and enthusiasts alike. This 19th-century American clock, known for its distinctive Greek Revival style design, is now undergoing a restoration process.

The Grecian clock showcases architectural motifs inspired by classical Greek designs, featuring a moulded Rosewood bezel, carved volutes, and a Rosewood veneered case. The clock's painted zinc dial face, though showing signs of age with some flaking on the edges, appears to be original. However, there is a missing time side grommet and the dial screws have caused the dial to become misaligned.

The alarm mechanism of the clock is in excellent condition, a rarity for old clocks where the spring on the alarm is typically broken. The dial will be left as-is, despite some paint loss on the edges, with more information about the restoration process to be shared later.

The unique green triangular label inside the case of the Grecian clock is in fair condition with pieces missing at the lower cracked section of the backboard.
