"Gruber's Returning Performance" featuring Patrisa Gruber

In an exciting turn of events, former student of the Municipal Music School Landshut, Patrisia Gruber, will be performing at the upcoming "ComeBack" concert on September 27th. This event, organised by pianist Tanja Wagner, marks a special occasion as it is part of the "Concert & Course" concept, where former students return to perform and educate.

Patrisia Gruber, born in Landshut in 1996, has come a long way since her days at the music school. She studied there from 2005 to 2015 under the guidance of Christian Mattick, Carina Gehring, and Tanja Wagner. After completing her education, she continued her studies at the University of Music Karlsruhe, where she was tutored by Renate Greiss-Armin and Pirmin Grehl.

Gruber is not only a talented flutist but also an accomplished educator. She has been the head of the flute department at the School of Music and Performing Arts in Gaggenau since 2025. Her dedication to music and teaching is evident in her work.

Joining her for this special duo evening will be Jhih-Ting Wong, a pianist who was educated at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe. Wong, who studied at the National University of Taipei and the University of Music Karlsruhe, has been working as a coach at the University of Music in Karlsruhe since 2021. His teachers at the university included Kalle Randalu and Hartmut Höll.

The program for the duo evening includes late romantic music by Korngold, Reinecke, Pierre Sancan, and André Jolivet. The concert will lead listeners into the classical modern era with a sonatina by Pierre Sancan and "Chant de Linos" by André Jolivet.

On Sunday, September 28th, at 10 AM, Patrisia Gruber will give a public course at the Municipal Music School for interested flute talents. Registration for the course can be made by contacting Tanja Wagner at 0151 - 26 51 99 26 or via email at tanja.wagner@our website.

The "ComeBack" concerts have been taking place at the Municipal Music School for eleven years. This event promises to be a memorable one, with the musical development of Patrisia Gruber and Jhih-Ting Wong on display. Admission to the concert is free, but donations for the artists are appreciated. Don't miss this opportunity to witness the talent and passion of these exceptional musicians.
