In the early hours of this morning, an incident unfolded in the bustling district of Schöneberg, specifically on Yorckstraße and Goebenstraße.

A 24-year-old man, driving a Chevrolet, found himself at the centre of an altercation with an unknown assailant. According to reports, the unknown man was driving a car on Yorckstraße and continued onto Goebenstraße.

During the altercation, the unknown man produced a firearm and fired multiple shots at the moving Chevrolet. Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident.

The Chevrolet sustained multiple hits and was subsequently impounded by the police. The 24-year-old driver and his 27-year-old passenger fled the scene in the vehicle.

The police found several shell casings at the scene, providing evidence of the gunfire. The investigation into this incident is being handled by a specialized commission of the Police Directorate 4 (South).

Despite extensive searches, the identity of the unknown assailant remains unknown at this time. The case number for this incident is 2085.

It is important to note that no injuries were reported as a result of this incident. The safety and well-being of the community remains the top priority for the police.
