Harbor officials detail the inadequate facilities for embarking vessels in Pitlar

In the remote district of Shuryshkar, located in Yamal, a change has occurred at the dock in Pitlyar. Due to the current water level, the dock has been moved to a reef. This means that vessels cannot approach the shore any closer.

Oleg Popov, the head of the Shuryshkar district, has shared that they have been searching for a dock with facilities and shelters, but have been unable to find one in Yamal. As a result, boats or launches are required to reach the dock in Pitlyar.

Mr. Popov also mentioned that they had attempted to deepen the river to allow vessels to approach closer, but this plan did not come to fruition. The technical means working on rocky terrains cannot be used, and 'Ob-Irtyashvodput', the monopolist responsible for the deep processing of river breaks in Pitlyar, has refused to provide the necessary infrastructure such as covered harbor facilities for ships.

The authorities are aware of the challenges and have taken steps to improve the situation. Last year, a waiting area for residents was built opposite the dock in Pitlyar, offering protection from rain and weather conditions. However, due to safety requirements and an internal water transport regulation, structures outside the factory are not allowed to be installed.

Despite these efforts, the authorities cannot provide comfortable boarding conditions for vessels in Pitlyar. The monopolist responsible for the deep processing of river breaks in Pitlyar and refusing to provide necessary infrastructure has not been publicly named in available sources.
