In the early hours of Sunday, a serious accident occurred on a country road near Heddesheim in the Rhein-Neckar district. The collision involved two cars, resulting in the injury of three individuals and causing extensive damage.

According to the police, the 35-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle, leading to a head-on collision with a car driven by a 33-year-old woman. As a result, both vehicles had to be towed away, and the section of the road was closed for nearly five hours.

The aftermath of the collision revealed spills of hazardous materials on the road. To assess the situation and determine the cause of the accident, an expert was called in. Their role is to assess the hazardous substance spill to clarify the accident circumstances.

The incident resulted in injuries for all three individuals involved. The 35-year-old driver and his 33-year-old passenger sustained severe injuries, while the 33-year-old driver sustained minor injuries. All three were taken to the hospital, but further details about the extent of their injuries were not provided.

The damage caused by the collision is estimated to be around 43,000 euros. The police are involved in the incident and are currently investigating the cause of the accident. A specialist company was also called to clean the road.
