Heavy rain causes the cancellation of Matute Group's concert in Cuernavaca
In the metropolitan area of Morelos, a much-anticipated concert by the Matute group was unfortunately cancelled due to early morning rains. The event was scheduled to take place at a fairground in Cuernavaca, but water entered the dressing rooms, causing the concert's cancellation.
The concert organiser, Federico Figueroa, announced the cancellation along with his business partners, former deputies Roberto and Julio YanΜez Moreno. Despite the disappointing news, a local businessman has stepped forward to refund the ticket price for the cancelled concert.
The heavy rain that led to the concert's cancellation was preceded by a warning issued by local authorities on Friday. The rains were so intense that they caused severe street damage in Cuernavaca, affecting 43 houses. The Army even activated the Plan DNIII to manage the aftermath of the damage.
