Traffic Accident in Delmenhorst: Two Drivers Sustained Minor Injuries

In a unfortunate turn of events, a traffic accident occurred on August 14, 2025, at around 5:30 PM in Delmenhorst, a town located in the Land of Wesermarsh. The accident took place at the intersection of Amelhauser Straße and Oelmuhle.

According to the Police Inspectorate Delmenhorst / Oldenburg - Land / Wesermarsh, one of the drivers involved was from Dötlingen and was driving a VW on Amelhauser Straße towards Wildeshausen. The other driver, from Wildeshausen, was driving a small car.

The VW driver failed to notice the oncoming small car while turning left towards Oelmuhle, resulting in a frontal collision with the right side of the VW. The impact of the collision caused substantial damage to both vehicles, amounting to 25,000 euros in total.

Fortunately, both drivers, aged 20, were treated at the scene and classified as having sustained minor injuries. They were later taken to a hospital for further examination. The exact nature and severity of their injuries remain undisclosed.
