Upon arrival, 14 emergency personnel found the injured cyclist already being treated by emergency services. The fire department's deployment ended at 1:55 PM. No information about the cyclist's condition or transportation beyond the fact that they were treated and transported to a hospital in Bochum by a rescue transport vehicle has been provided.
In contrast, the accident on Saturday involved an Audi driven by a 70-year-old woman from Sprockhövel who overlooked a 73-year-old cyclist from Bochum, resulting in minor injuries to the cyclist. No details about the fire department's involvement in securing the Saturday accident scene have been provided.
As of now, no further details about the exact course of the accidents on Wittener Straße on Saturday and Sunday have been released. The local community hopes for the speedy recovery of the injured cyclists and urges drivers to remain vigilant on the roads.
