In the bustling city of Las Vegas, the dining scene is about to get even more exciting as the Papi Steak restaurant is set to host an exclusive popup experience during the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix. This three-day culinary and entertainment extravaganza, priced at an all-inclusive $28,088.10, offers a unique blend of fine dining and VIP race access.

The Papi Steak Garage, a takeover of the F1® Garage, will serve as the venue for this extravagant event. The package includes an F1® Paddock Pass, rooftop access to the Paddock Club™, pit lane walks and track tours, a podium celebration, access to The Poodle Room, nightly DJ entertainment, and the signature high-energy atmosphere of Papi Steak.

This event is scheduled to take place from November 20-22, 2025, with the Las Vegas Grand Prix taking place on the final day. The Papi Steak popup made its debut in 2023 during the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

While the individual menu item prices for this popup are not detailed, the steakhouse's regular menu does offer a tomahawk steak priced at $1,000, served in a rhinestone briefcase.

Meanwhile, in the world of television, the Netflix culinary series "Somebody Feed Phil", starring Phil Rosenthal, has released its first Las Vegas episode. Rosenthal, the creator of "Everybody Loves Raymond", is often seen dining out around Vegas but mostly avoids the Strip, favouring establishments like Milpa Mexican restaurant, Esther's Kitchen, Good Pie, Fergusons Downtown, Big Dan Shanxi Taste, and Gritz Café.

In other news, another location of the expanding Portland, Ore. ice creamery, Salt & Straw, is set to open at Paris Las Vegas sometime early next year. Another Salt & Straw location is opening this fall at the Flamingo, between Gordon Ramsay Burger and the retail space formerly used by Margaritaville.

However, not all news is positive. Broadacres Marketplace, a popular destination for Latin American street food, closed indefinitely on June 21, 2025, due to fear and uncertainty among the immigrant community over potential ICE raids. Broadacres Marketplace, which has been serving Las Vegas since 1977, is home to over 1,000 vendors and a significant portion of Las Vegas' Latino residents.

In a singular Strip dalliance, Phil Rosenthal enjoyed a dinner with Ray Romano and Brad Garrett at Don's Prime steakhouse at Fontainebleau. Ricardo Romo, a former chef at STK at the Cosmopolitan, has opened his second Las Vegas restaurant, Tuscan Cove Bar & Patio, located at 12656 Southern Highlands Parkway.

As of the article's publication, "Somebody Feed Phil" has not yet released episodes of "The Pitt", and the 2024 census data shows that 41% of Las Vegas' residents are Latino. Tickets for the Papi Steak popup can be purchased by emailing [email protected].
