High School for Police: Training Services Warmly Welcomes New Students in Hagen (Police Academy)

In the heart of Hagen, Germany, the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences welcomed a new cohort of students on August 25, 2025. A total of 58 students, aged between 14 and 30, began their journey in the innovative "FOS" course, marking the start of its fourth year.

The Hagen Police, responsible for overseeing the training of FOS students, lead this unique programme. They are joined by local educational institutions and police training departments in this collaborative effort. Although the Hagen Police Press Office contact information is not readily available in search results, it can be reached via phone, email, homepage, social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and WhatsApp channel.

This inter-authority cooperation aims to prepare students for a career in the NRW police force. By providing practical content in the daily duties of the various cooperating authorities, students are given a comprehensive understanding of the field.

This year, a total of 551 young people were selected to begin their studies at two of the 19 vocational schools. Some of the students are continuing their school journey after grade 10, while others are returning to the classroom after years in the workforce.

As of June 2025, 3645 applications were received for the FOS class of 2025. Upon graduation, students will have full university entrance qualifications and a guarantee to start their studies at the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration NRW.

The Hagen Police wish all "FOS'lers" success in their team 110 start! This new school year promises to be an exciting journey for these students as they embark on their path towards a career in the police force.
