In the world of entertainment, there's always something new to look forward to, and this week is no exception. Let's take a look at some of the exciting new shows and sequels that are now available or soon to be aired.

First up, golf comedy enthusiasts will be thrilled to know that Adam Sandler is starring in a sequel to the 1996 classic, "Happy Gilmore". Titled "Happy Gilmore 2", this long-awaited sequel sees Happy Gilmore trying to win big to save his daughter's ballet school. The star-studded cast includes Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, and Ben Stiller, reprising their roles, alongside professional golfers Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas, rapper Eminem, and Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, known as Bad Bunny, playing caddy Oscar.

If crime dramas are more your thing, then Whitstable Pearl, a coastal crime drama, is airing on U&Drama at 9 pm. Starring Keeley Hawes as retired contract killer Julie, this popular show that debuted in 2021, is back with a new mystery that leads to a surprising denouement. Kerry Godliman stars as private eye Pearl in Whitstable Pearl, and the latest series involves a local woman who disappeared seven years ago.

For those who enjoy family-oriented comedies, "Here We Go" is returning for a third series on BBC1 at 9 pm. The Jessop family is the focus of this series, and this time, they're having trouble with a new smart security system. The third series is available on iPlayer box set.

Last but not least, if you're in the mood for a thrilling drama, The Assassin, a six-part drama, is available on Prime Video. Keeley Hawes stars as retired contract killer Julie, who is asked to come out of retirement and goes on the run with her son, played by Freddie Highmore. The Assassin also features Jack Davenport, Gina Gershon, Alan Dale, and Richard Dormer in its cast. The director of "Happy Gilmore 2" is Kyle Newacheck, and the screenplay was written by Adam Sandler and Tim (last name not stated in the results).

Whether you're a fan of comedy, drama, or crime, there's something for everyone this week. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the new releases!
