Highlights of the Ola S1 Pro Sport Model

Ola Electric has unveiled its latest electric scooter, the Ola S1 Pro Sport, at the event "Sankalp" on August 15, 2025. This new model marks a significant step forward for the brand, offering a more aggressive and sporty design compared to its predecessor, the S1 Pro.

The Ola S1 Pro Sport is equipped with an array of innovative features, making it the first scooter to feature driver assist technologies such as front collision alert, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot alerts. It also boasts front and rear cameras that double up as a dashcam.

Powering the Ola S1 Pro Sport is an in-house developed, rare earth free ferrite motor. This motor allows the scooter to accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just about 2 seconds, and it has a top speed of 152 kmph, 11 kmph more than the S1 Pro+. The scooter is powered by a 5.2 kWh 4680 battery, slightly smaller than the 5.3 kWh battery on the S1 Pro+, but it still offers the same IDC-claimed 320 km range on a single charge.

The hardware components of the Ola S1 Pro Sport have been reworked for a smoother ride. The front telescopic fork has been changed, and the rear monoshock has been swapped for gas-charged shock absorbers. The scooter also features 14-inch wheels at both ends. The design has also been updated, with elements like a redesigned front apron, carbonfibre front fender, new pillion grab handles, and a small flyscreen.

The Ola S1 Pro Sport's battery pack takes 15 minutes to charge from 20-80%, but the charging speed is not specified for a standard or fast charger. Deliveries for the Ola S1 Pro Sport will start from January 2026, and it will launch at an introductory price of ₹1,49,999 (ex-showroom). It is worth noting that the Ola S1 Pro Sport is priced almost ₹20,000 less than the S1 Pro+.
