Hockey squad hailing from Poland, known as Bullsharks Cologne
On the evening of March 28, 2025, the Troisdorf Ice Sports Hall will play host to an exciting Blue Light Ice Hockey Tournament. The event, organised by the Cologne Police, promises to be a thrilling selection of the blue light ice hockey scene.
The tournament will feature three teams: the Police Penguins Krefeld, Ruhr Cops Bochum, and Backdraft Cologne, who will be playing for three good causes. The event is being held to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of the Bullsharks Cologne, and the patron of the tournament at the Blue Lighthouse Ice Hockey Tournament is Captain Markus Klein.
The tournament will start at 7:45 PM, and admission to the event is free, with donations being accepted. Donations will go to the North Rhine-Westphalian Police Foundation, the Help for Helpers Foundation of the German Firefighters' Association, and the Cologne Ambulant Children's Hospice Service, each in equal parts.
The event will take place at the Troisdorf Ice Sports Hall, located at Uckendorfer StraΓe 135. The Cologne Police President, Johannes Hermanns, supports the event, and press inquiries should be directed to the Cologne Police Headquarters Press Office.
The motto of the event is "All for a good cause," making it a perfect opportunity for a sporting showdown with the Bullsharks Cologne, while also supporting worthy causes. So, mark your calendars and join us on March 28, 2025, for an evening of exciting ice hockey and charitable giving.
