As Scott was biking home from work around 7 p.m., he was unexpectedly confronted in Hessville Park. A group of individuals, some on bikes, verbally taunted and called names before launching into a brutal attack. The assault left Scott with severe injuries, including the majority of his front teeth being knocked out.
