House blaze in Dinslaken endangers multiple individuals.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning, the Dinslaken Fire Department was called to a significant incident in the city centre. A fire had broken out in a ground-floor apartment on Scharnhorststrasse.
The fire department swiftly mobilised several units to tackle the blaze, including teams from the main fire station and the city centre, as well as the command post, the IuK unit, and the rescue service. Two teams with heavy breathing apparatus and a fan were deployed, with a third team on standby as a safety team.
Upon arrival, the fire department found that the police had already evacuated all residents from the building. The resident of the affected apartment was taken to a local hospital for further medical treatment. The fire department was able to contain the spread of smoke from the ground-floor apartment fire.
Sadly, the extent of the fire damage has left the affected apartment uninhabitable. The cause of the fire is currently unknown and is being investigated by the police.
