House Fire in FW Bocholt Results in Injuries
On the morning of August 6, 2025, a significant incident took place at a residential building on Weberstraße, Bocholt. The Bocholt Fire Department and Rescue Service received a call that was labeled "Fire - Lives in Danger."
Upon arrival, all residents had evacuated the building. A team of 19 personnel, including professionals from the fire station, volunteers from the fire department, and members of the rescue service, entered the affected apartment with breathing apparatus to combat the fire. Six vehicles were used during the operation.
Sadly, the occupant of the affected apartment suffered severe injuries. The injured individual was treated on-site by the rescue service before being transported to a hospital.
Additional volunteer fire department personnel ensured basic protection for the city area during the operation. The Bocholt Fire Department and Rescue Service handled the incident professionally and efficiently.
