House in Alfeld suffer damage due to fire incident

On the morning of July 27, 2025, a house in Alfeld's city centre was engulfed by a devastating fire. The original content of this information was transmitted by the Police Inspectorate Hildesheim, via news aktuell.

Upon arrival, the house at Kalandstraße was already fully ablaze. The fire and police departments were alerted by witnesses around 07:15. The house had to be demolished due to the risk of collapse and threat to an adjacent building.

The person living in the house was treated in a hospital for suspected smoke inhalation. Fortunately, they were later discharged from the hospital after treatment.
