Private financial collapse announced by Barbara Meier - Husband of Barbara Meier files for financial insolvency.

In a surprising turn of events, Klemens Hallmann, a 48-year-old entrepreneur and the husband of "Germany's Next Topmodel" winner Barbara Meier, has filed for personal bankruptcy. This comes after his subsidiary company, SÜBA AG, filed for insolvency in April, a procedure that was concluded in late July with the acceptance of a restructuring plan worth 20% of the company's assets, payable within two years.

The Hallmann Corporate Group, primarily active in the field of real estate and real estate development, is not affected by the insolvency. The central company of the group, Hallmann Holding International Investment GmbH, which is fully owned by Klemens Hallmann, also remains unaffected.

The Alpine Creditors' Association announced the filing of the insolvency proceeding with self-administration by Klemens Hallmann. The failure to reach an agreement with an important creditor led to the breakdown of negotiations, forcing Hallmann to seek help from the Vienna Commercial Court.

A new development in the case is Klemens Hallmann's offer of a 30% quota to insolvency creditors for full satisfaction of their claims, payable within two years of acceptance of the restructuring plan. This offer has not been mentioned in earlier reports.

The insolvency proceeding involves 102 creditors with total claims of approximately 95 million euros. Around 75 million euros of the total claims are contingent liabilities in the form of guarantees that Hallmann had taken on for other companies. His daughter company, SÜBA AG, had already filed for insolvency earlier.

Hallmann blames the tense situation on the real estate market as the main reason for the payment default. He and Barbara Meier have been married since 2019 and have two daughters together.

The restructuring plan for SÜBA AG could potentially serve as a model for Hallmann himself. The insolvency of Klemens Hallmann involves 102 creditors, but the specific claims of Barbara Meier are not mentioned in this paragraph. It is important to note that the Hallmann Holding is not affected by the insolvency, as it is not directly mentioned in this paragraph.

The insolvency of Klemens Hallmann marks a significant turn in the career of the well-known entrepreneur. As the case unfolds, more details are expected to emerge, shedding light on the financial situation of the Hallmann Corporate Group and its future prospects.
