Illegal occupant detained in crawl space of condominium complex, methamphetamine discovered: Oregon law enforcement officer apprehended

In a surprising turn of events, Beniamin Bucur, a 40-year-old individual, has been arrested and charged for living in a condominium complex's crawl space in Clackamas County, Oregon.

The arrest took place on Wednesday, following a suspicious circumstance investigation at the condominium complex. According to the sheriff's office, upon arrival, officials found the door to the crawl space damaged and locked, with an extension cord running through a vent. Upon breaching the door, they discovered Bucur inside.

The owner of the complex stated that nobody was supposed to be in the crawl space and had heard strange noises coming from it before. A witness also noticed the door to the crawl space was open and light was coming from inside.

Bucur had significantly improved the conditions of the crawl space, turning it into a living quarters of sorts. He was found to have set up a bed, lights, chargers, televisions, and other electronics. A pipe with white residue, which tested positive for methamphetamine, was also found at the scene.

The electronics were found to be plugged into the house, suggesting that Bucur had been living there for an extended period of time. However, no further information about the living conditions or reasons for Bucur's presence in the crawl space were provided.

Bucur was transported to the Clackamas County Jail and booked on charges of first-degree burglary and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. His preliminary hearing took place on Thursday, with his bail set to $75,000.

It remains unclear whether Bucur has an attorney representing him in this case. No additional arrests or charges related to this incident were mentioned in the paragraph.

The sheriff's office made the announcement in a press release last week, stating that they were continuing to investigate the matter. A man, not known to live in the complex, was reported to have parked his car and walked to the back of one of the buildings before the arrest.
