Illicit alcohol, weighing a considerable 3 tons, is confiscated in Temruk
In a significant development, the press service of the GU MVD of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory has reported the conduct of searches on September 5 in the homes of two men residing in Temryuk and Starotitarovskaya stanitsa, both in Krasnodar.
The searches, which were carried out as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected tax and smuggling violations involving alcohol, revealed special devices for producing alcohol in both the residential buildings and garages of the two men. Labels related to the production of alcohol were also discovered, providing further evidence of the alleged activities.
The investigation uncovered over 3 tons of wine, chacha, and cognac, which were seized during the searches. The seized alcohol is now in responsible storage.
However, the names of the two individuals suspected in the production of alcohol have not been explicitly disclosed in the search results. It is worth noting that the Stralsund Customs Office (Zoll) in Schwerin, Germany, found large quantities of untaxed cigarettes during a control in a grocery store, which may be connected to the case.
