Illicit cigarettes confiscated from a liquor store in Bocholt-Suderwick

In the quiet town of Bocholt-Suderwick, Germany, an unknown crime took place during the late evening or early morning hours of August 17-18, 2025. The crime scene was located on Wigger Street, where unknown individuals broke into a liquor store.

According to the Circular Police Authority Borken, the perpetrators smashed two glass doors to gain entry to the building. Once inside, they targeted the cigarette display case, making off with the packs inside. The crime spanned approximately nine hours, from 23:00 hours on August 17 to 06:00 hours on August 18.

The identities of the perpetrators remain unknown, and the police are still seeking witnesses. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Criminal Investigation Department in Bocholt at Tel. (02871) 2990. The police have not made any arrests yet.
