Police Headquarters East Hesse is investigating a barn fire that occurred in the Lahrbach district, Fulda, on August 28 at approximately 23:30. The incident took place in a 4x8m freestanding barn, resulting in an estimated damage of around 10,000 euros.
Firefighters from Tann, Lahrbach, and Hilders were quick to respond and managed to control the fire. Unfortunately, the barn and the agricultural equipment inside were completely destroyed, and thankfully, no people or animals were injured.
The Fulda Criminal Police are leading the investigation into the cause of the fire. Their efforts are being supported by the fire department of Altenkirchen and the police as they work to determine the exact origin of the fire in the detached barn in Lahrbach.
