In Solingen, Merscheid continues its monotonous routine on the 24th of August
The much-anticipated Merscheid Flea Market is set to return on August 24th, from 10 am to 4 pm. This annual event, now in its third year, is a collaboration among four local families: Loos, Neumann, Schmitz, and Müller.
Taking place in the heart of Merscheid, the flea market covers the district between Loch- and Viehbach, as well as between Mittel- and Locherstraße. With over 250 participants confirmed, this year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Visitors can plan their own routes and target specific stalls, making the most of their day at the market. To help navigate, a digital map of all flea market stalls and offers is available. This map can be linked with the Google Maps app on smartphones and tablets, ensuring a seamless experience for all.
The digital map has been optimized for mobile devices, making it easy to find your way around the market. For those not seeking specific bargains, the flea market offers a wonderful atmosphere and an opportunity to stroll through the district.
In addition to the market, the organizing team will donate surplus from the participation fee to the Grundschule Erholungstraße primary school. This gesture further cements the flea market's role as a connection for the entire Merscheid district.
Many participants are returning for the third year in a row, testament to the flea market's popularity. In fact, this year's event has set a new record for attendance, solidifying the flea market's status as a fixed institution in the Merscheid district.
If you're planning to attend, be sure to visit the official website, www.hoftroedel-merscheid.de, for the exact locations and information about how to get there. We look forward to seeing you at the Merscheid Flea Market!
