In the Hungarian Grand Prix, Marquez establishes an unstoppable lead from the opening lap and clinches an impressive 13th race victory.

In the historic first sprint race at the Balaton Park circuit, Marc Marquez (Ducati Desmosedici GP25) clinched a dominating victory in the Hungarian Grand Prix.

From the very first lap, Marquez took the lead and never looked back, maintaining his position until the chequered flag. His victory adds to his impressive tally of 12+1 wins this season.

Fabio di Giannantonio (Ducati Desmosedici GP25) held second place for much of the race, but Marquez's relentless pursuit saw him overtake the Italian rider. Franco Morbidelli (Ducati Desmosedici GP24) followed closely behind in third.

Luca Marini and Fermin Aldeguer rounded out the top five finishers, with Marini improving his position during the race and Aldeguer holding a consistent pace.

The sprint race was not without its dramas. Enea Bastianini (KTM RC 16) was involved in an incident with Fabio Quartararo and Johann Zarco (Honda RC 213 V), but managed to avoid falling. Unfortunately, both Zarco and Quartararo ended up on the ground. Pedro 'Tiburón' Acosta also lost control of his KTM and went down, but he valiantly got back on his bike and continued the race in 17th place.

Jorge Martín was another casualty, ending up on the ground due to an incident with Acosta. Marco Bezzecchi finished in seventh place, while Alex Márquez took eighth. Francesco Pecco Bagnaia, who was 14th on the third lap, managed to recover and finish in 13th place.

Marc Marquez's pole position for the Styrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring, to be held next, further cements his position as a formidable force in the MotoGP championship.
