In a heartfelt and poignant performance, Schlager star Stefan Mross paid tribute to his late mother during a live broadcast of "Always on Sundays." The Arena of Europa-Park in Rust, Germany, played host to this emotional episode, which has been the show's home since its inception.

Mross, known for his ability to make people laugh, shared that his mother often encouraged him with the words, "Make people laugh." The night was filled with a mix of laughter and tears as Mross delivered a powerful performance in memory of his beloved mother.

After the performance, Mross took a moment to express his gratitude. He thanked his girlfriend Eva Luginger and brother, who were in the audience, as well as his ex-wife Stefanie Hertel for stepping in to host the show the previous week. Hertel, along with Uta Bresan, had taken over hosting duties during Mross' absence due to the death of his mother.

The host of the show was visibly moved by Mross' performance, and the audience responded with a long round of applause at the start of the show. This wasn't the first time Mross had missed a show due to personal loss; in 2010, he missed an episode following the passing of his father.

Mross sang a song in memory of his mother during the broadcast, and the host, in a similar vein, sang "Who Would I Be Without You" after the performance. The show took on a different tone due to the emotions experienced in the last two weeks, and Mross, who has been hosting the show, with a few exceptions, since 2005, expressed that together, they are strong, and together, they will overcome everything.
