In a series of unfortunate events, several burglaries were reported in various parts of Southeast Hesse over the weekend. Here's a rundown of the incidents:
On Saturday, unknown individuals attempted to break into a residence in Friedrich-Ebert-Straße (30s house numbers). After destroying a window, they fled the scene empty-handed, having been disturbed by a neighbour. The property damage is estimated to be around €400.
Meanwhile, in Buchschlager Allee (single-digit house numbers), a snack bar was broken into between Thursday, 1 PM, and Saturday, 6:10 AM. The property damage in this incident is also approximately €400.
Another burglary occurred on Saturday between 3 and 7 PM in Rügenwalder Straße (single-digit house numbers), resulting in approximately €100 in property damage. Valuables such as jewelry and cash were stolen during this incident.
In "Under the Village" (10th house number) in Egelsbach, unknown individuals broke into a residence, causing approximately €150 in property damage and stealing jewelry and cash.
Sadly, Southeast Hesse wasn't the only city affected by these burglaries. Rodgau also reported incidents over the weekend. One such incident occurred between Saturday, 3 PM, and Sunday, 1 PM, in Spessartstraße (single-digit house numbers), causing €100 in property damage, but no valuables were taken.
