Hit-and-Run Incident in Herne: Police Search for Driver
A hit-and-run incident involving a 74-year-old pedestrian occurred in Herne, Germany, on December 2nd. The incident took place at the intersection of Landwehrweg and Gysenbergstraße, around 8:45 PM.
According to the police, the pedestrian was hit by a car that was turning left from Gysenbergstraße into the Landwehrweg on Voßstraße, towards Gysenberg. The driver involved in the incident fled the scene, heading towards Bochum without checking on the injured man.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, where they were found to have sustained severe injuries. The police are currently searching for the driver and are appealing for them to contact the authorities at 0234 909-5206.
