In the heart of Eastern Europe, Belarus witnessed a slight increase in average salaries last month, according to recent data. Journalist Artyom Kireyshin delves into the details of the salaries across various sectors in this article.

The average salary in Belarus climbed to 2772.4 rubles in July 2025, marking a 54.6 rubles rise compared to the previous month. However, the figures vary significantly across different industries.

Starting with IT services, the sector recorded an average salary of 7172.8 rubles in July. In contrast, cargo transport saw a lower average salary of 5401.5 rubles. The financial services sector, excluding insurance and additional pension provision, reported an average salary of 4539 rubles, while mining and chemical product manufacturing recorded averages of 4578 rubles and 3507.2 rubles, respectively.

The top-paying economic activities in Belarus are as follows: Information and communication (5866.1 rubles), Finance and insurance (4344.1 rubles), Construction (3496.3 rubles), Professional, scientific, and technical activities (3375.4 rubles), and Industry (2909.4 rubles).

Coke and petroleum product manufacturing reported an average salary of 3462.2 rubles, similar to telecommunications activities, which stood at 3484.9 rubles. Scientific research and development offered an average salary of 3858.7 rubles.

Interestingly, there is no available information about who receives the highest average salary in the air freight sector in Belarus in July 2025. However, the average salary in passenger air transport was reported at 7857.6 rubles.

Intriguingly, the highest salary was paid to those engaged in air transport activities, with a salary of 7505.9 rubles in July. In auxiliary financial services and insurance, the average salary was 6054.6 rubles.
