Increased travel observed on various bus services during the holiday period
The Stadtwerke Münster, the municipal utilities of Münster, have announced changes to the public transport timetables starting from August 27, 2025. These adjustments will see bus services revert to the regular school day schedule with denser intervals after the summer holidays.
One of the key changes will be the reversion of the school-day timetable for lines 2, 9, 10, 13, and 14. All other lines will maintain their usual 20-minute frequency. Notably, buses on main streets will come at least every ten minutes, and line 14 will run every 20 minutes again.
For those using lines 1, 17, and others unaffected by the changes, services will continue as normal. However, passengers are advised to pay particular attention to the validity dates of the timetables.
Timetables at affected stops are currently being replaced, and passengers are encouraged to check their connections on the Stadtwerke Münster's official website, www.stadtwerke-muenster.de. For those travelling to and from schools, the website www.stadtwerke-muenster.de/schulfahrten will provide connections starting from August 26, 2025.
As always, it's essential to plan your journey in advance, especially during periods of change. The city's public transport timetables will change on the 27th of August, so be sure to check the updated schedules on the Stadtwerke Münster's website before your next trip.
