Sakra World Hospital has expanded its reach in the healthcare sector with the launch of a 50-bedded healthcare facility in HSR Layout. The new facility, launched in partnership with IKOC, marks a significant venture in the field of medicine, although the specific medical conditions it will cater to remain undisclosed.

Meanwhile, Mahajan Imaging & Labs has entered into a partnership with Fortis La Femme, focusing on women and child healthcare. This partnership, too, does not specify the medical conditions it will cater to, but it is clear that it aims to make a positive impact in the lives of women and children.

The healthcare landscape in India is undergoing a digital transformation, as evidenced by the event held at IIITH, which was related to healthcare and digital transformation (ABDM 2.0). The event saw the hosting of an ABDM 2.0 southern region consultation meeting organized by NHA.

Elsewhere, Zydus Therapeutics has reported positive topline results from the EPICS-III Phase 2(b)/3 Trial, a clinical research study. The results from this trial are yet to be fully analysed and understood, but they represent a significant step forward in medical research.
