In the past week, several incidents have taken place in the Southeast Hesse region, including burglaries, a hit-and-run accident, and a bike theft. Here's a rundown of the events and the contact information for those who wish to provide information.

On Sunday, a 39-year-old individual was suspected of presenting a forged driver's license in Hanau. The police are currently investigating the matter.

A hit-and-run occurred on Friday afternoon on state road 3196 in Steinau an der Straße. The incident resulted in minor injuries for a 23-year-old motorcyclist and approximately 1,300 euros worth of damage to his motorcycle. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the accident escape group at 069 8098-5699.

In Steinau an der Straße, a Pedal Electric Cycle worth 4,500 euros was stolen from a garden on Dreiturmstraße on Thursday. So far, only a set of tires has been reported missing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police in Schlüchtern at 06661 9610-0.

Two burglaries occurred in Steinau on Saturday night between 0:00 and 8:00. Unidentified persons gained access to two houses on Sodener Weg (40s house number) through the garage. Witnesses can provide information about these incidents to the respective police stations.

Between Saturday and Sunday, unknown individuals tampered with a window of an office building in Lagerhausstraße, Linsengericht, causing approximately €3,000 in damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact the criminal police at 06181 100-123.

A white scooter was stolen from a multi-family home in Hermann-Ehlers-Straße, Hanau, on Saturday. Witnesses can provide information about the stolen scooter in Hanau to the respective police station.
