In an unusual incident that unfolded at Main Station (St. Georg) on Monday evening, a 43-year-old man found himself in hot water after allegedly undressing in the concourse and stealing a 12-pack of non-alcoholic drinks.
The incident occurred around 9:40 PM, as the station bustled with travellers. The man, whose identity remains unknown, was reportedly ordered to dress immediately by Federal Police officers. However, his actions became more bizarre as the situation escalated.
According to reports, the man, upon the arrival of two security guards, took his penis in his hand and performed obscene gestures. This behaviour led to additional charges of public indecency.
The stolen items, a 12-pack of non-alcoholic drinks, were found on the man during the subsequent inspection. He was also charged for theft.
The Federal Police, who intervened in the incident, stated that the man was a thief. However, no further information about the man's identity or motives has been released.
