In a tragic turn of events, a fatal traffic accident occurred on Sunday afternoon around 4:15 PM on the federal highway B85 near Bruck, district of Schwandorf. The accident site has been cordoned off, and an expert has been ordered to examine it.

The Skoda vehicle, overtaking another vehicle, inexplicably veered to the left after merging back into the right lane, resulting in a collision with a BMW traveling from the opposite direction. The accident claimed the life of a woman and left two individuals seriously injured.

Elsewhere, a cyclist was severely injured in Edelsfeld due to a car driver failing to see them while turning. The state road in Edelsfeld was closed for two hours as a result.
