In a disturbing incident that occurred last night, a 55-year-old man was attacked in a park on Warnitzer Straße. Police District 31 was called to the scene around 9 PM after reports of an injured man.

The attackers, two men aged 34 and 38, approached the victim and started punching him. The victim, upon being attacked, bit one of the attackers on the nose. The attackers then knocked the victim to the ground and kicked him repeatedly in the head and face, inflicting multiple injuries, including bone fractures.

The injured man was taken to a hospital for treatment. The exact nature and cause of his injuries are yet to be definitively determined from medical examinations.

During the altercation, the victim bit one of the attackers on the nose. Both suspects refused a voluntary breathalyzer test.

Police officers found the two suspects during a search of the park and took them into custody for identification. After police procedures, the suspects were temporarily released, and the investigation continues. A 38-year-old suspect had blood drawn during the investigation for further analysis.
