Individual sustained a bullet wound to the lower limb - Individual sustain gunshot wound to the leg
A disturbing incident took place in Mönchengladbach's Bunter Garden on Sunday afternoon, as a 35-year-old man was injured by a gunshot to the leg.
Witnesses in the area reported hearing the shot and promptly alerted the police. Upon arrival, officers found the weapon at the scene.
The injured man was immediately taken to the hospital, where his condition is currently stable. Thankfully, there is no risk to his life.
In an effort to gather more information, the police are currently searching and controlling several people in the vicinity of the Bunter Garten. It is not specified exactly who these individuals are, only that the investigators are checking the relation of those persons to the event.
