Ineebriated 19-year-old Porsche driver slams vehicle into house wall
In the early hours of Sunday morning, a dramatic incident unfolded at the intersection of Aachener Straße and Innere Kanalstraße in Cologne-Lindenthal.
A 19-year-old driver, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, was at the wheel of a Porsche Carrera. According to the investigations, the driver attempted a U-turn towards Universitätsstraße but lost control of the vehicle, resulting in a devastating crash into the wall of a multi-family house.
Fortunately, the driver and the two other passengers in the backseat remained unharmed. However, the passenger sustained minor injuries, and a blood sample was taken from the driver for further analysis.
The breathalyzer test conducted at the scene showed a reading of approximately 1.5 per mil, confirming the suspicion of drunkenness.
The accident caused significant damage to both the building facade and the Porsche Carrera. The incident has been a reminder of the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol.
