Dongfeng-Nissan Venucia Debuts First Electric Compact SUV and Unveils New Livina Premium Edition
Dongfeng-Nissan has made significant strides in the automotive industry with the production of its first electric compact SUV, the Venucia model, and the release of a new Premium Edition of the Livina crossover.
The Venucia electric compact SUV made its debut on October 23, marking a new chapter in Dongfeng-Nissan's commitment to sustainable mobility solutions. The Livina, on the other hand, received a facelift before the Beijing Auto Show, with the Premium Edition being a highlight.
The Livina crossover, a unique blend of MPV, wagon, hatchback, and SUV characteristics, is now available with both manual and automatic transmission options. The Premium Edition, equipped with a 1.8-liter engine, is priced at 119,800 rmb for the manual model and 129,800 rmb for the automatic model.
The standard Livina crossovers, which are all equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, range in price from 85,800 rmb to 116,800 rmb. The success of the Livina crossover is unusual given its unique vehicle classification, yet it has become a success for Dongfeng-Nissan.
In a move that preceded the Beijing Auto Show, the reveal ceremony for the Livina crossover Premium Edition took place the day before the event. The new Livina Premium Edition is now available at dealerships.
It's worth noting that the Livina crossover and the Venucia electric compact SUV are not the only innovations from Dongfeng-Nissan. The brand has also developed and produced a hydrogen car in collaboration with Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Nissan Motor Co.
These developments underscore Dongfeng-Nissan's commitment to offering diverse and innovative automotive solutions to the market.
