Great Wall Motor (GWM), the company behind the Tank 500, Wey Gaoshan 7, and Haval H9, has recently launched the Tank 500 off-road SUV, priced starting at 46,800 USD. However, the much-anticipated M3 model, a new addition to the Hover brand, is yet to hit the market.

The Tank 500, Wey Gaoshan 7, and Haval H9 are separate models from the M3, codenamed CH071. While the Tank 500 and the Haval H9 have already been launched, the Wey Gaoshan 7 PHEV minivan is set for pre-sale on September 10 and will debut at the Chengdu Auto Show. The specific engines for the M3 have not been confirmed yet.

Unlike the M2, the M3 is intended for individuals who do not want its "madness." The M3, similar in length to the M2, is expected to be released after the M2, which was launched in March. It is worth noting that the M3 is likely to be manufactured on the same platform as the M2, but it has not been mentioned to share the same platform as the Tank 500, Wey Gaoshan 7, or Haval H9.

The M3 will be positioned above the M2 in the market, with an expected price range of around 90,000 RMB, slightly higher than the M2's price range of 65,900 to 79,900 RMB. The M3, codenamed CH071, is a new model from Greatwall's Hover brand, but the manufacturer of the new HOVER M3 model has not been explicitly mentioned.

Interestingly, the Tank 500, Wey Gaoshan 7, and Haval H9 are not related to the Greatwall Hover brand or the M2 and M3 models. Neither have they been positioned in the market above or below the M2 or M3. The Tank 500, Wey Gaoshan 7, and Haval H9 are not intended for individuals who do not want the M2's "madness."

Great Wall Motor offers multiple engine options that may be used in the M3, including 1.5, 1.8, and potentially a 2.0. The M3 is not yet available for purchase, but it promises to be an exciting addition to the automotive industry, especially for those seeking a more refined driving experience compared to the M2.

As we wait for the release of the M3, the Tank 500, Wey Gaoshan 7, and Haval H9 provide a diverse range of options for consumers. The Tank 500, with its off-road capabilities, the Wey Gaoshan 7, a PHEV minivan, and the Haval H9, a versatile SUV, cater to various needs and preferences. Stay tuned for more updates on the M3 and other exciting developments from Great Wall Motor.
