Intoxicated man assaults multiple individuals and a federal law enforcement officer in BPOLI
In an unexpected turn of events, a suspect caused a commotion during his arrest at Magdeburg train station square on May 21, 2025, at 2:20 PM.
The suspect, heavily intoxicated with a breath alcohol test result of 1.64 per mille, was apprehended by the Federal Police. However, his behaviour towards the officers was far from cooperative.
According to reports, the suspect showed aggressive behaviour and insulted all the officers with offensive language during the journey to the Federal Police station. The altercation escalated when the suspect threw a shoe and his pants towards a Federal Police officer, causing physical harm.
During the restraint, the suspect offered significant resistance, injuring an officer on the thumb. Two individuals were attacked during the altercation, one of whom was injured in the face.
The local police have decided to take the suspect to the Bundes Police Station Magdeburg for further legal proceedings. The suspect will receive charges for bodily harm, insult, resistance against, and assault on law enforcement officers.
