Great Wall Motor, the Chinese automaker, is gearing up for a significant expansion in the European market with the launch of multiple new vehicles in the near future.

One of the most anticipated additions is the new Great Wall H5, which is set to debut in Europe. The H5 will be available in two models: a more conventional car model, often resembling a station wagon, and a more exciting CUV variant. The developer of the CUV model is Italdesign.

The size of the European H5 is 4790x1920x1820, and it boasts a curb weight of 2010 kg. The wheelbase of the European H5 measures 2920, providing ample interior space. However, the ground clearance of the European H5 remains questionable at 22.

Meanwhile, the H5 CUV will face competition from the Tank 500 off-road SUV from Great Wall Motor. The Tank 500 is available in both PHEV and ICE versions, offering eco-friendly and traditional powertrain options. The Tank 500 starts at an affordable price of 46,800 USD.

Another exciting offering from Great Wall Motor is the Wey Gaoshan 7 PHEV minivan, which is scheduled for pre-sale on September 10 and will debut at the Chengdu Auto Show.

Interestingly, the Great Wall Honda CRV has been listed as a competitor for the European H5, indicating a high level of competition in the SUV segment.

The second-gen Haval H9 Warrior Edition from Great Wall Motor is also scheduled to launch on August 26 in China, further expanding the company's product portfolio.

While the article mentions sources such as China Spy Shots, Google News, a Telegram account, and others, these are not factual details about the vehicles.

The European Edition H5's design has been leaked in renderings from a Great Wall brochure, offering a sneak peek into the vehicle's stylish and modern look. The H5's debut in Europe is expected from 2011, marking a significant milestone for Great Wall Motor in the European market.
