Investor Support Reaches $14 Million During Pre-Sale of Bitcoin's Second-Layer Upgrade Project
Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER), a promising Layer-2 solution for Bitcoin, is making waves in the crypto world and is well on its way to becoming the hottest presale of 2025. With a surge in investors recently, the project has raised an impressive $13,984,280 at the time of writing.
The project is designed to lift the transaction per second (TPS) limitation of Bitcoin, currently limited to 7 TPS, ranking it 27th among blockchains with the highest TPS. Bitcoin Hyper aims to provide faster transactions with confirmation times in seconds instead of hours, making it a potential game-changer for the Bitcoin network.
The Canonical Bridge plays a crucial role in this transformation. It links Bitcoin's main network to the Hyper layer and uses the Bitcoin Relay Program to confirm transactions. Bitcoin Hyper also relies on the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) to achieve its goals.
The current favorable crypto context, Bitcoin's push towards $113K, Michael Saylor's $900M BTC purchase, and the GENIUS Act's first October implementation milestone are contributing to Bitcoin Hyper's growing interest. However, it's important to note that the project is not backed by a specific organization or named individual publicly, but rather a community of early investors and developers focused on scalability and programmability improvements for Bitcoin.
One of the most obvious concerns with the Bitcoin network is that its nodes must always remain online, making investors vulnerable to hacks and enabling the Fraudulent Channel Close scam. Bitcoin Hyper promises to address this issue by eliminating the fee-based priority system and lowering on-chain fees dramatically.
The Canonical Bridge mints users' tokens into the Hyper layer, taking away traffic from the main network and lowering confirmation times dramatically. Upon receiving the green light, users can withdraw their Bitcoins to the Layer 1 at any time.
Analyst Peyman Iravani has noted that the Lightning Network, an earlier upgrade targeting the TPS issue, failed to achieve its goals. Bitcoin Hyper, on the other hand, promises to deliver on its promises of giving Bitcoin faster and cheaper transactions for higher scalability and sky-high performance.
However, as with any investment, it's crucial to do one's own research (DYOR) and manage risks wisely before investing. The price prediction for $HYPER is $0.2 by the end of the year, but whether to invest in $HYPER depends on one's risk tolerance, vision, and confidence in the project's reliability.
The presale is nearing its target completion date in Q4 of 2025. With Solana boasting up to 1,000 TPS and Ethereum having 20 TPS, Bitcoin Hyper's official Layer 2 upgrade could revolutionise the Bitcoin network, making it a compelling investment opportunity for those seeking faster, cheaper, and more scalable transactions.
